THSYNAPSE PRIVACY POLICY

Effective July 8, 2026.

Signalworks LLC (d/b/a THSynapse, "we") operates thsynapse.com and the THSynapse platform. This policy describes what we collect, why, and your choices. THSynapse is a business tool; most data we process belongs to the company (tenant) using the service.

1. WHAT WE COLLECT

  • Account data: name, email, role, and authentication events for each user.
  • Tenant business data: what your company puts into the platform — vehicle and equipment records (including VINs and license/registration tags submitted for intake), maintenance and inspection records, cost entries, photos, and documents you link or upload.
  • Usage data: log and device information (IP address, browser, pages/actions, timestamps) used for security and to operate the service.
  • Communications: messages you send us (support, feedback, waitlist/access requests).

We do not intentionally collect sensitive personal information, and the service is not directed to anyone under 18.

2. HOW WE USE IT

To provide and secure the service; to process intake (including AI-assisted reading of vehicle tags/manuals you submit); to communicate with you about the service (transactional email); to improve the product using aggregated, de-identified usage information; and to comply with law. We do NOT sell personal information, and we do not use your data for third-party advertising.

3. AI PROCESSING

Certain features send the content you submit (e.g., a photo of a vehicle tag, a manufacturer manual) to our AI service provider to extract structured information. These providers process the data to provide the feature to us.

4. SERVICE PROVIDERS (SUBPROCESSORS)

We use third-party providers to run the service: cloud hosting and database (e.g., Vercel, Supabase), AI processing (e.g., Anthropic), transactional email (e.g., Resend), and payments/invoicing (e.g., Stripe). They process data only to provide their services to us.

5. TENANT ISOLATION & SECURITY

Each company's data is segregated per tenant and enforced at the database layer; one tenant's data is not visible to another. We rely on our infrastructure providers' standard protections, including encryption in transit and at rest, and we apply commercially reasonable safeguards. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we do not represent that we hold any third-party security certification at this time.

6. RETENTION & DELETION

Tenant data is retained while the account is active. When a tenant is deleted, its records are deleted from the production database (deletion cascades across the tenant's records); residual copies in backups age out on our providers' backup schedules. After termination, we will provide your company's data in a reasonable machine-readable format on written request. If we become aware of a security breach affecting your personal information, we will notify affected account owners without undue delay, consistent with applicable law.

7. YOUR CHOICES & RIGHTS

Account holders can review and correct account information in the product. Depending on where you live (including under Oregon law), you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal information about you — send requests to info@thsynapse.com and we will respond as required by applicable law. Note that most platform data is controlled by your employer/tenant; where we process it on their behalf, we may direct your request to them.

8. COOKIES

We use strictly necessary cookies for authentication and session state (e.g., a profile/session cookie). We do not use third-party advertising cookies.

9. CHANGES

We will post updates here and note the effective date; material changes will be notified to account owners.
